Linda Czarny began volunteering at Loretto's The Nottingham Residential Health Care Facility prior to the passing of her parents and Nottingham residents, Mildred and Dr. Gerald Cleveland.

Linda continues visiting The Nottingham along with her dog, Callie, to stay connected with staff and residents who have become part of her family."Visiting The Nottingham is the highlight of my week" Linda says.Linda has developed a close relationship with Nottingham RHCF resident Dorothy Smith. Dorothy looks forward to visits with Linda and Callie because it makes the Nottingham even more home-like as Dorothy used to have a dog, too.

As Callie rests by Dorothy's feet, Linda and Dorothy enjoy spending their Friday afternoons together reminiscing about their shared passion for sports. Linda says,"I've always liked visiting the people at The Nottingham because it changes things up for them and it really brightens their day.Callie adds that special touch when I'm sharing time with residents."
